Our Story

Bailey Blue, started by three sisters in Los Angeles, CA, is a fun and fashionable dress line for women of all ages. Sisters Randi and Jaclyn Wishnow attended design school at Otis College in Los Angeles, California. While Jaclyn went on to study in Milan right out of undergraduate school, back in LA Randi began a t-shirt line in 2003. She named the line Bailey Blue after her pug Bailey who was there all the way from the beginning, sitting right by her side as she worked to create her pieces. When Jaclyn returned to LA she joined her sister to help create Bailey Blue designs.

It all started in the garage of their parents’ house and as it grew they moved into a loft in downtown LA. With just a pattern maker and 2 sample makers, Bailey Blue started to grow ever so quickly. The line evolved into fashion tops and then finally fashion dresses, which of course is our specialty!

With our awesome sellers in New York and the addition of our head designer Marlena, Bailey Blue started selling dresses all over the U.S. In 2009, Shelby, the youngest of the three sisters, also joined the team to help with design.

And now, 12 years later in the heart of the Fashion District of LA, Bailey Blue has a team of 40 inspiring, trend setting team members striving to bring women the fashionable dresses they want at prices they can afford. Starting out as a family business, Bailey Blue continues to focus on having a fun, friendly, and collaborative company culture.
